Rapper OG Maco contracts flesh eating disease that's eaten into his scalp and face

Rapper OG Maco is going through a lot of pain and discomfort after he contracted a deadly skin-eating disease.
The rapper told fans that he suffered a mystery rash and when doctors tried to cure it, he contracted the flesh-eating disease.
The disease, known as necrotizing fasciitis, is an infection that results in the death of parts of the body's soft tissue.
Typically, the infection enters the body through a break in the skin such as a cut or burn, or in OG Maco's case a rash.

While opening up about his health challenges, Maco also spoke about how the person he loves and his friends have not been supportive during his time of trial. He accused his closest friends of turning their backs on him when he needed them the most.

Fortunately, his doctors have been able to get the disease under control and he's expected to recover, though he'll have to live with the scars for a while.
