Affording any special protections to the panel “sends the message to each juror that he or she needs to be protected from Mr. Guzmán. From there, members of the jury could infer that Mr. Guzmán is both dangerous and guilty,” defense attorney A. Eduardo Balarezo wrote in a recently filed motion. A "drunk" man on his way home stumbled into his neighbor's house, mistaking it for his, then allegedly killed the owner after mistaking him for an intruder. Michael Augustine, from Raytown, Missouri, Unites States, got into his neighbor's house, but in his drunken state, he thought he was in his own home. He then choked his 60-year-old military veteran neighbor to death after the mix-up. Police made the chilling discovery after Augustine, 43, phoned 911 and said he had the intruder "pinned down" in his front garden. Officers rushed to Augustine’s address, but found the house empty and nobody outside. They searched the neighborhood and found Augustine at Clinton King's house just a few metres away. Russell Goreraza, the son of former First Lady, Grace Mugabe was on Friday, detained for hours at the Plumtree Border Post before driving into Botswana on transit to South Africa with three luxury vehicles. According to reports, customs officials suspected Goreraza, who was in the company of a Tinashe Munatsi and other unidentified people, was using the top of the range vehicles to smuggle cash and other valuables out of the country. Sources who spoke to The Chronicle said Goreraza, Munatsi and his team spent almost seven hours at the entry point as they were subjected to questioning and thorough searches. “The three cars, a Rolls Royce, a Porsche and a Range Rover, were thoroughly searched and scanned. The Department of State Security DSS has alleged that the Islamic State in West Africa network, operating within some North Central and South-South sections of Nigeria, may be responsible for the recent killings recorded in Benue State and other parts of the country. Punch reports that the DSS made this allegation in an intelligence report presented to President Muhammadu Buhari by security agencies, including the Department of State Service. A Michigan couple has been charged with one of the most heinous murders that is being referred to as the "worst child death case" ever after their 4-year-old daughter died in a "scalding bath" in Michigan. Candice Diaz, 24, and Brad Fields, 28, were charged with murder, torture, and child abuse and both denied bail. Gabrielle died on New Year's Day after living a life filled with abuse. Doctors say she suffered multiple injuries, including severe burns on her limbs after she was in a bath with scalding hot water. A medical practitioner, who examined Gabrielle Barrett's body, described the alleged murder as the "worst child death case" in 27 years of his career, according to a court document. The document also allegedly states that the four-year-old was burned so badly that her big toe fell off, and police found melted skin in the drain. The protesters say their demand is for the Federal government to agree to a referendum so they can go and form their own country.
