Japanese man arrested after parts of nine bodies, severed heads were found in his apartment

Police on Tuesday arrested a 27-year-old man, Takahiro Shiraishi after the severed parts of nine bodies, some of them stored in picnic coolers, were found in his apartment in Tokyo,  Japanese media said. Police made the grisly discovery in the apartment in Zama, a city just outside Tokyo, after investigating the disappearance of a 23-year-old woman who went missing earlier this month and was seen walking with the man near the apartment on security camera footage, multiple media reported. A number of coolers were found in the house, each containing body parts, and led to the arrest of a Takahiro Shiraishi on suspicion of abandoning a body. Police are investigating further.

Police seek public's assistance in identifying body of woman found along Mbutu, Enyiogugu Aboh Mbaise road, Imo State

The Imo State Police Command has deposited the corpse of an unidentified woman at Sydeny Memorial Mortuary, Mbutu, Aboh Mbaise Local Government Area. A statement issued today by the Spokesperson for the command,  SP Andrew Enwerem, said the deceased, fair in complexion, slim in size, dressed in a flowering gown, was found dead on the 24th of October, 2017, at the grass verge along Mbutu, Enyiogugu Aboh Mbaise road opposite Deeper Life Church, Aronta . "All efforts to identify the corpse or trace the relatives proved abortive. Members of the public whose relative(s) is missing and have not been seen, are by this press release advised to go to Sydeny Memorial Mortuary, Mbutu for identification." the statement reads.

An 18-year-old woman who is in her first year at Nizhny Novgorod State Pedagogical University has been kicked out of the institution after a video of her having sex in the middle of a local nightclub called the Milo Concert Hall went viral and blew up the internet. Ksenia Smirnova, who was studying to be a teacher, was caught on video having sex with a hot police officer called Rodion Artyushin. The Russian woman and the police officer did not mind the fact that there were hundreds of revelers around them as they pleasured each other while club-goers hailed them. Artyushin was fired from his job over the incident while Smirnova has been kicked out of her school. Smirnova decided to speak out in a live video chat after the footage was shared thousands of times on social media in Russia. It looks like another scandal just hit the music industry and it's YCee vs Sony Music West Africa. Here's what happened! Back in October 2016, as part of Sony Music Entertainment’s expansion across Africa, the label announced that it had signed an exclusive deal with Ycee, who also confirmed it via Instagram. Well that deal has supposedly now gone bad and YCee is calling them out. Was it another contract that wasn't understood properly before it was signed or some parts of the agreement were not met? Time will tell.

American R&B and soul singer, Chrisette Michele has been accused of lifting another woman's miscarriage photo for her Instagram post. Last week, the “No Political Genius” singer took to Instagram where she revealed in a series of emotional posts some of the struggles she encountered after she performed at President Trump’s inaugural balls in January. Michele faced severe backlash after she performed at Trump’s inaugural balls despite many black artistes declining the offer to grace the stage. In September, 2013, a video of Jim Iyke receiving deliverance at TB Joshua's Synagogue Church went viral on the internet. The church also explained on their Facebook page how the evil spirit tormenting him for years, manifested during deliverance and how he got delivered from it. NAPTIP visit shrines in Edo State where human trafficking victims are taken for oath-taking

In the fight against human trafficking, NAPTIP, Benin Zonal Command have enlisted the support of chief priests in Ayelala shrines, Edo State, in order to combat the crime.  "It is no secret that one of the control mechanisms employed by traffickers over their victims is the use of voodoo and oath-taking, usually at Ayelala shrines in Edo State. This voodoo is meant to instill fear into them and keep them loyal at all costs," the command said on NAPTIP official Facebook page. "In light of the above, NAPTIP Benin Zonal Command felt the need to sensitize the priests at the shrines, with the aim of enlisting their support to stop this menace. This effort is already yielding fruits as some of the chief priests have turned to anti human trafficking ambassadors."

Boko Haram terrorists neutralized while tying to escape in Gubio

Troops of 5 Brigade Garrison, 8 Division Nigerian Army, Operation LAFIYA DOLE, while on routine patrol as part of the on going clearance operations in Aisaram village, Gubio Local Government Area, Borno State, on Sunday 29th October 2017, encountered 2 Boko Haram terrorists riding on horse back at about 6.20am. The Boko Haram terrorists were fleeing from the ongoing clearance operation in one of their hideouts in Gambo Yukku forest, Gubio Local Government Area of Borno State, when the patrol team accosted them but they refused to stop, rather attempted to outflank the troops, but were spotted and shot by vigilant troops during the fire fight that ensued. The troops recovered an AK-47 riffle, a magazine with a single round of 7.62 millimeters ammunition and 2 machetes. Other items recovered include 2 mobile telephone handsets, 2 horses and 7000 Naira cash.

Ghastly auto crash claims 22 lives including members of wedding party in Sokoto State

At least 22 persons have died and scores injured in a ghastly motor accident along Kware-Gwadabawa road in Sokoto state on Sunday . The accident involving a truck and a Toyota Sporadic vehicle which was said to be conveying a newly wedded bride and some members of her family occurred around 8pm. According to eyewitness accounts, the truck was coming from Illela local government area of Sokoto when one of its tyres busted and as such rammed into the Spora which was coming from Kware local government, leading to loss of lives, mostly women, children and elderly people. However, the spokesman of the Sokoto state Sector Command, Aliyu Kanya said the accident was caused by over speeding and claimed 20 lives while 12 others including the bride sustained various degrees of injuries.
